Reflection

I didn't realize that I had fallen asleep until she tugged on my sleeve a little while later, staring in amazement through the window at the billowing clouds below.

"We can't just bribe someone to talk!" Janine insisted.

"You know where I stand on the subject. Asking them is the easiest answer. If that fails, then we can fall back to you plan."

"I can't commit to that plan, Hunter. Think about it. If you were Synchro Systems, would you implicate yourself to the three of us? Of course not! You'd call security and have us escorted out of the building."

"Then how do you plan on sneaking in and finding the right person to talk to?" He asked me.

"Force."

"Things are getting out of control if you're planning on resorting to violence," he threw another branch into the fire.

"Things were out of control long before that option even presented itself," I said.
