You get these thoughts in your head, like you can do something that makes a difference, like you can maybe even save the world, and they're nothing but trouble.  You’re fooling yourself, and these dangerous thoughts are your tools in the battle you wage against your own better judgment, and you make terrible decisions, rash decisions, you move based on impulsiveness and what may appear to be logic at the time but really is all a facade hiding the truth: you want to be a hero.

It seems that the more you try to decipher such riddles, the more convoluted everything becomes, and eventually you're tripping over yourself inside of your head trying to sort it all out, when usually there is no answer, and it makes more sense to just accept that most things just Are, they don't have a reason that lies beyond random chance.
